Since 2007, the locally owned La Casa Blanca has served homemade recipes to the La Mesa community. Using fresh ingredients, along with the owner’s grandmother’s recipes, La Casa Blanca has built a strong local following. The dining room is decorated with colorful pottery and Mexican artwork, and fresh tortillas are made by hand at a stand in the corner.

The Founders Tony and Cindy Gómez with the help of Lupita and The Chef Jesus (both from Las Palmas Michoacán) created the original menu for La Casa Blanca.

In 2010 Chef Jesus had the opportunity to return to La Casa Blanca, as a Head Chef, bringing back the original menu with the original recepies.
